The
Push
The Push, established in 1986 by the Office of Youth Affairs,
is a community based organisation whose aims and objectives include
encouraging young people to take responsibility for their own
entertainment. This is achieved through a club structure where young
people throughout metropolitan and country Victoria meet on a regular
basis to make decisions about entertainment and, with guidance
fromPUSH co-ordinators and local community workers, implement those
decisions
Youth
Challenge is a human rights education program
developed by the Australian Human Rights and Equal Opportunity
Commission. It is designed to educate school students about human
rights and responsibilities through role-plays, guided activities,
surveys, personal stories and prompted questions for discussion.
The Challenges allow students to focus on real-life issues such as
sex, race and disability discrimination, sexual harassment and the
rights and responsibilities of employers and employees.

Make
a Noise. a project for young people, run by
young people.
The project works with people under 25 years of age in
communities across the south west of New South Wales to promote an
environment that is more supportive of them - one in which they can
make lots of noise to make sure they get heard.
Make a noise is about young people making their own decisions about
their health, and taking responsibility for keeping themselves
healthy. This website is just one way we can work together to make
sure that we have access to the information we need to make healthy
choices. Whether its making sure we have safe sex or looking out for
a friend who has been down lately, we all need to be able to talk, be
heard, be loud and make a noise.

where the rights of every child are protected, that is, the right to
live in peace, to have decent shelter, to be healthy and
well-nourished, to have clean water, to play, to go to school, and to
be protected from violence, abuse and exploitation.

Teen
Center
The Internet Public Library Teen Division exists to make
the Internet a more useful place for teenagers, by collecting and
creating information resources of interest, and by giving teenagers
the opportunity to shape the direction of the Division by serving on
our Advisory Board.
The Teen Division provides coherent, well-organized access to quality information resources, and treats teenagers as people, not as a market to be exploited or a problem to be solved.
