The Island of BOTWOT
storytelling paradise

This is a community storytelling website.  It is set on a desert island on which you and your fellow islanders must entertain each other by adding stories (and eventually drawings and other artwork).

The stories are moderated before being published and we currently working on the site so it automatically shows the user story content that's age-appropriate.

BotWot's Aim: A light-hearted community that encourages more general participation in storytelling and self-publishing, especially amongst teenagers.

The site is open now
http://www.botwot.com and we are continuing to improve it.  We're looking for writers of all levels to add advice, stories, poems, plays and comments.  The official site opening will be early in 2004.

BotWot.com
http://www.botwot.com is a bit different from most writing sites - as it creates a fictitious tropical island known as BotWot Island, off the Eastern coast of Australia where internet castaways can take up as their "get-away" residence.  There's no ads and its free of charge.
