LORD HOWE ISLAND CENTRAL SCHOOL
"TODAY FOR TOMORROW"

Surely our most isolated school, being a mere speck in the Pacific Ocean, 700kms north-east of Sydney and 500kms due east of Port Macquarie. With 40 students and three teachers in a total island population of around 300 (up to around 600 in peak tourist season) Lord Howe Island Central School experiences similar problems to other isolated schools but with the bonus of being situated on an island paradise with a World Heritage ranking. Lord Howe Island CS is in the NSW DET Port Macquarie District and the NSW CAP Northern Network.
