What did you have to find out?
If we could transport the robot to the target without touching the mines by only vertical,horizontal and diagonal lines.

What materials did you use?
Knowledge of coordinates, pencil, paper and a computer.

How did you think? What strategies did you use? How did you solve this problem?
We used our knowledge of coordinates to plan each move.

What answers did you come up with?
20 mines, 1 hit

1.x=1 Y=18

2.x=10 Y=19

3.x=15 Y15

4.x=15 Y=7

5.x=20 Y=7

Mission accomplished

25 mines 0 hits

1.x=9 y=10

2.x=15 y=10

3.x=15 y=8

4.x=18 y=8

5.x=18 y=6

6.x=20 y=6

7.x=20 y=6

Mission accomplished

30 mines 0 hits

1.x=2 y=16

2.x=11 y=7

3.x=11 y=3

4.x=12 y=3

5.x=12 y=4
