Peter Mackay who runs The Teacher ListI says that he has "shamelessy lifted this one from 180 Technology Tips. MIT OpenCourseWare (OCW) is a web-based publication of virtually all MIT course content. OCW is open and available to the world and is a permanent MIT activity. You won't get a degree from them, but you can take in all the same content!"

Don't have Photoshop? Can't adjust, resize, fix your digital photos? Try Picnik.com - its free!
This is a stupidly easy photo editor that allows you to fix exposures,
resize, crop, and deal with photos on all platforms and all online. I'm
already thinking of how teachers can use this in the classroom every day!

anashinteractive.com

Although aimed at Canadians this site is well worth a visit.
It is a companion site to the half-hour children's quest series, Anash and the Legacy of the Sun-Rock, tells the compelling tale of young Anash's mission as he tries to re-unite all parts of the Sun-Rock in order to fulfill a prophecy to attain peace and protect a fragile land. They have a teacher's guide, as well as a more detailed Curricular Connections document which specifies how their content fits in with the specific learning expectations and outcomes for English Language Arts, Aboriginal Culture Programs, Art, Social Studies, and ICT, as well as curricular connections to the Western
Canadian Protocol.

The URL: http://www.periodicvideos.com
Note:
the videos cannot be viewed through the DET network. It is suggested that teachers view them off-site and save them to show their classes.
