The Country Areas Program (CAP) is administered as part of the Australian Government funding provided through the Rural and Regional Assistance for the 2009 – 2012 quadrennium.

CAP is managed for NSW Public Schools and the agreed Catholic Dioceses of Canberra-Goulburn, Bathurst and Armidale by the New South Wales Department of Education and Training (DET).

This section of our site has been designed to:

• provide details about the Country Areas Program of NSW Policies and Guidelines, including criteria for inclusion in CAP.

• enable CAP participants to download CAP documentation electronically
