Your School Council is sponsoring a team of students, teachers and parents to participate in the up and coming City-To-Surf fun run, in an effort to raise community involvement in your school.

To get to on your way, fill in the personal weekly food intake log (or download out a Word version) to discover your own dietary habits. Compare your results with those recommended in the food pyramid for your age group. Record the number of different foods eaten in each category over the week and graph (pie/bar etc) using Word, Appleworks, Compute-a-Graph, or similiar.

Start a weekly exercise diary, (or download a Word version)include all the daily physical activity you do, e.g. soccer training, swimming lessons, riding your bike to school and compare your physical activity with others in your class. Maintain a Run Chart to record the total daily exercise you are doing. Consider a variety of cross training strategies in order to maintain interest and commitment to the Challenge.

TO WIN . . . All applicants must submit an oral presentation incorporating either PowerPoint, Kid Pix SlideShow, video, digital photo slideshow, or overheads etc, to the School Council to win a place on the team. This presentation is to include:
