The Tourism and Works Departments of your local council have been successful in bidding for Australia's latest and greatest theme park, Whizz Bang World. As part of the development of this fabulous project they ran a competition for input into the attaractions to be built.

Congratulations!!!!

Your class have been chosen to assist in the planning of Whizz Bang World by deciding on three of the rides to be built.

The Task

Roller coasters with all sorts of thrills have been built in parks around the world. Your job is to study them and choose the three which you think should be constructed at Whizz Bang World.

Points To Consider:

• safety record of each ride
• "thrill level" of the ride
• cost of the ride
• number of people the ride caters for
• accessibility of the ride for "special groups"
• who the ride is designed for ie. children; families; etc.

What To Do

• Print out the summary page to record and compare your information.
• Visit the links below to gather the information and recod it on your summary sheet.
• Analyse the information and make your decision.

• A picture or a photgraph
• Your reasons for choosing this ride based on the information you gathered.
