BACKGROUND
Pollution is
a major problem world wide and appears to be on the
increase. Reports of blue-green algae outbreaks, ever
increasing soil salinity, exhaust fume levels, chemical
farming practices, mining practices and beach pollution are
occurring more often. These pollutants have a harmful effect
on all living things - plant, animal and human.

The
Pollution Action Team (PAT) has discovered an alarming
increase in the pollution levels in your
community

It should include your completed worksheets and your
suggestions on how to prevent or solve the
problems.
