Background:

Scientists have discovered an alien colony is heading towards Earth to take over the planet which will destroy all life on Earth.
However they believe that there is a chance that they will be able to set up human colonies on another planet.

Your Task:

You have been selected to work with a task force to discover which planet would be most suitable for human habitation.

You will need to consider things such as -

• size compared to the earth • distance from the earth • climate

Step 2. When you have completed that task you should go to WORKSHEET 2 and rank the planets in order of choice.

Step 3. After deciding which planet you will go to, prepare a KidPix slideshow or a Powerpoint presentation to convince your classmates why they should choose that planet.
             Be sure to include pictures and information that will help your argument.The use of extra visual aids may help (diorama, models etc).
