You have been asked by your teacher to choose an Australian author to visit your school to talk to the students about their books and how to become a writer.

Your task is to research 3 Australian authors and decide which author would be the most interesting for your classmates.

When your decision is made you will need to convince your classmates that this author is the best choice. You will need to advertise their work and develop a set of 10 questions that could be asked of the author when they visit.

Step 1

Print out the author visit fact sheet. View the author visit fact sheet.

Step 2

Choose 3 authors to research from the author list

Step 3

Complete the author fact sheet using your library and the author list information.

Step 4

Using KID PIX or Powerpoint design a poster to advertise the author's work.

Step 5

Develop a set of 10 questions that you could ask the author when they visit.

Step 6

Present your findings to your class in an oral presentation.
Remember to convince them that this author is the best choice!!!!
