Animals need shelter to raise their young and to provide protection from the weather and predators.

They build their homes from materials found in their environment.

When building their home they choose a position close to their food supply.

Your task is to look at these animal homes and consider this:

Step 2

Look at:

• the type of shelter
• the materials used
• the location - where it's found
  

Step 3

Choose the home you would prefer.

Step 4

Present your choice using the information you have found. It can be presented in any of the following ways.
