Junior Red Cross

The Junior Red Cross was established in Japan established in Japan 1922 for children from Kindergarten to high school.
Junior Red Cross hold meetings in schools, with a teacher as their leader. Students can become members through their school.

Junior Red Cross develops friendships and teaches health and safety, and encourages community service.
Junior Red Cross members learn about the work of the Red Cross in Australia and overseas. They help people in their local community, and raise money for projects in Australia and overseas.
Red Cross members wear a special Red Cross badge.
