The yo-yo is one of the oldest known toys. The first yo-yos were made of stone. They were used more than 3000 years ago.
Then came wooden yo-yos and finally plastic ones. A man called Donald Duncan made the yo-yo popular in 1928. He sent men around the USA to show amazing yo-yo tricks. Tricks like:-
