TheToy Car

The Matchbox Car was invented in 1952 by an American named Jack Odell.  The first Matchbox Car was a tiny brass Road Roller and it was put in a match box sized container.  Jack made it for his daughter to take to school.

Today, Matchbox cars are still tiny and are copies of all the different cars and trucks we see on our roads.
